DanCell has conducted a nationwide feasibility study for the roll-out of a CDMA2000 network using spectrum in the 410MHz network made available by the British regulator OFCOM. The study qualified Nordisk Mobiltelefon to bid for the license and also proved the viability of providing green broadband in the United Kingdom using the technology.

The project was won by a competing consortium (with a different objective) due to higher bid price. The roll out of a green, mobile broadband network in Britten is still outstanding butthe plan is ready according to Erik Hornung.
